Ahoy there!

The children have been very pleased to see the construction of our new sunken pirate ship playground equipment and are desperate to get onboard – Thank you Friends of Ravenswood! We’ll be making a short video explaining some of the rules for the pirate ship and we’ll be sharing them with the children.
We are fortunate to have beautiful grounds at Ravenswood and warmly welcome our families to enjoy them. However, as with all of our playground equipment, children must be supervised by a parent if using the grounds before or after school.
Vision Ambassadors
We are very proud to reveal our new vision ambassadors for this year. They will be helping with assemblies, school tours, potential new appointments etc. Our school councillors had an incredibly difficult decision to make and felt that they could have chosen from any of the many presentations they saw last week. Well done to everyone that put themselves forward.

Harvest festival
It was lovely to welcome Father Jonathan into school earlier this week to lead Harvest festival assemblies. He taught us all about the history of the Newcastle ‘stottie’ – ask your children for more information! Thank you so much for your very kind donations of food. This is just one table of many donations. The People’s Kitchen representatives will come to collect today.
