Vision ambassadors

This week, the children on our School Council took on their first very important and challenging responsibility: electing our new Year 6 School Vision Ambassadors.
We were incredibly impressed by the number of Year 6 children who bravely stood up in front of their peers to explain why they would make excellent ambassadors. The confidence, preparation and passion shown by every child was outstanding, making the School Council's task a very difficult one.
Our School Council members approached the process thoughtfully and responsibly, using a range of voting criteria to help them make their decisions. They did a fantastic job and demonstrated great maturity throughout.
With only five ambassador positions available for each of our school trees, choosing the successful candidates was not easy. Today, our new Vision Ambassadors received their badges in assembly and are ready to begin their important roles for the year ahead.
Congratulations to all of our newly elected ambassadors. Most importantly, a huge well done to every child who took part. It takes great courage to stand up and present in front of others, and every candidate should be extremely proud of the effort, commitment and enthusiasm they showed. You were all brilliant, and you represented yourselves and Ravenswood wonderfully.
Medical forms

Thank you to the many parents and carers who have already returned their child's medical information forms. If your child has any allergies, medical conditions or ongoing health needs and you have not yet returned the form, please send it to the school office as soon as possible.
Mrs Hall, our school First Aider, will be available near the school office each morning to discuss any medical needs with parents and carers. This helps us ensure that we have clear procedures in place and that we can provide the safest possible care for all children while they are in school.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us keep everyone safe.
