The Big Gig Sing

Mrs Maddison and the choir had a great time at the Big Gig sing last week – Ravenswood were definitely the best dressed school!

Nursery Sports Day

It was so lovely to see our nursery children take part in sports day on the MUGA pitch on Wednesday. Thank you to all the parents and families who came along to cheer the children on. There were some very competitive parents in the grown-up races – you’ve set the benchmark for other parent sports day races!

Friday 27th - Summer fair – 2pm start

Thank you so much to the Friends of Ravenswood for organising our summer fair and thank you to all of our families for joining us and helping us to raise money for an exciting new project that we think the children will really love (to be continued …)

Scottish Opera

Our Year four children are going to be performing Scottish Opera to parents on Wednesday 2nd July. Parents are invited to the main entrance at 2:00 with the performance starting at 2:15

School Reports

We have slightly changed the format of our school reports this year – we hope you will like them. The children have contributed too. You will receive your child’s report on Thursday and also find out who their next teacher will be. This year, we’re building in more transition days to give the children a chance to get to know their new teacher ahead of September. More information will follow in next week’s newsletter.

Teacher Training day - Friday – A reminder that next Friday (4th July), school is closed for a teacher training day.
